First Baptist Church of DeKalb is a Christ-Centered, Growing Community, Shining the Light of Christ. We extend the warmest of welcomes to each of you. We welcome you to sing joyously together, pray fervently, listen attentively to God's word and reach out a friendly hand to all who come to praise the Lord.

FBCD 175th Anniversary
2019 marked our 175th anniversary here at FBCD! Back in 1844, 10 people gathered together in a log cabin, to discuss starting a church. We celebrated with a ribbon cutting, attended by church and community members. In November we continued our celebration with displays of historical photos and memorabilia. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success!
